Wedding Advice

WHAT TO EXPECT – 2 of 6

Engagement sessions are included in all of our collections for a few reasons. They allow us to get a little more acquainted with one another and they give you and your partner some experience being in front of the camera. On the wedding day, the time allotted for portraits is limited, and already having experience working together will ensure we go into the portrait session comfortable and ready to go. This allows you to focus on enjoying your time with your new spouse, and my team to work even more efficiently!

Engagement sessions also give you the opportunity to create a shoot that showcases your personalities and love story in a more casual setting. An engagement session can take place anywhere from immediately following a proposal, to just a few days before the wedding. There are endless ways to customize the session so that it is significant to you and reflects this time in your relationship.

Throughout the planning process, I will routinely check-in to see how y’all are doing and if there is anything that I can help you with.

Around two months before the wedding day, we will start chatting about the specifics surrounding your celebration. Such as timelines, special details, family formal shot lists, special traditions, and anything else you think I should know about your big day.

It’s finally here! The day the two of you say, “I will” and dance the night away surrounded by family and friends. Savor every moment, because it is truly one of the most special days of your life!

My team and I are extremely honored and excited to capture your celebration, and will do whatever it takes to make sure that it is an absolute success. It’s going to be incredible!

The Big Day

WHAT TO EXPECT – 5 of 6

You can expect your photos to be delivered via an online gallery within 10 weeks of your wedding day. I take pride in every single one of the images I deliver, and want to make sure I am always keeping my word. I never want to disappoint a client because I tried to rush my work or was unrealistic with the amount of time I needed to complete the gallery.

While this might seem like an extended period of time to wait for your images, I always build in time for my film lab development and any special touches your images may need. Please note, that when your images are delivered, they will be ready right then to be printed and displayed in your home for years to come.

At the time of delivery, I will also share extended details about preserving your images through print, in an album if you wish.
